Hospice

The Beechwoood Home contracts with local hospice organizations to provide on-site services when medically appropriate.  The hospice philosophy is appropriate for residents who are considered terminal and are expected to live for six months or less if the disease process continues on a natural course.  Hospice services focus on keeping residents as pain-free as possible while also offering emotional, psychological and spiritual support.  If you have questions about hospice services offered at the facility, please speak to the Director of Nursing or Social Services.
